Position Statements
These documents represent the positions of IAATE on various aspects of avian training, husbandry, and care together with positions on other aspects of presenting birds in public educational and promotional situations.
Readers should bear in mind that each bird is an individual with its own specific behaviorial and physiological needs and therefore it is the responsibility of the owner/trainer to choose those practices that are best suited to that individual.
