Online Hotel Information

The Sheraton features many amenities and a great location in downtown Tacoma within walking distance of the waterfront, the Washington State History Museum and a variety of shops and restaurants. For reservations, call 1-800-325-3535. We have secured the discounted rate of $119.00 (plus a 13.5% tax) for either a single or a double room. You must mention your affiliation with IAATE when making your reservation. The hotel will be holding a block of rooms for us until January 21, 2007. The conference rate is available from February 2-14, 2007. Secure parking is available for $12 daily, or $6 daily for overnight guests.

TRANSPORTATION

 

If you are flying, book your flight into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). The airport is 30 minutes north of the hotel. Airport shuttle service is available. Reservations are required 48 hours in advance and can be made by calling Capital Aeroporter at (800) 962-3579. The cost is $24 one way and $41 round trip. Taxi fare is approximately $50 one way. Once in Tacoma, you can take advantage of the free Light Link Rail to reach a variety of downtown destinations.

Driving Directions: From northbound or southbound Interstate 5:

  • From I-5, take exit #133 onto highway 705.
  • Stay in center lane and follow City Center signs until you come to the 15th Ave/Pacific Ave exit.
  • Go straight up hill 2 blocks to Broadway.
  • Turn right on Broadway.
  • The Sheraton Tacoma Hotel is on the left side.
