KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Dr. Lloyd Kiff of the Peregrine Fund will be the keynote speaker. Dr. Kiff is a member of the California Condor Recovery Program and has also done extensive studies on the recovery of the Peregrine Falcon.

SPEAKERS AND PRESENTATIONS

We will be hosting speakers from around the world. Papers will be given on topics such as training and behavior, shows and education, conservation, animal management and veterinary medicine.

We are also offering the options of poster presentations again this year. In addition, we will have a training panel discussion and a discussion with representatives from US Fish and Wildlife on suggested guidelines.

CALL FOR PAPERS

Share your knowledge, expertise, and experience with IAATE members. This year we are soliciting papers on these topics:

  • Training and Behavior
  • Shows and Education
  • Conservation and Research
  • Animal Management and Veterinary Medicine

30 minutes will be allotted for each paper presentation. Please prepare two copies of your paper for submission at the time of registration. There will also be a session for poster presentations, which will vary in topic.

If you would like to present a paper or poster, please send an abstract by October 15th, 2002. Here are the guidelines.
